Week Three Nutrition Challenge….

Avoid Foods or Drinks That Are “Low Fat”, “Non-fat” or “Diet”….like the plague!


First of all..they can make you overeat! You might be more tempted to overeat a low-fat ice cream than to enjoy a regular portion of the real thing. 

Hundreds of studies have now shown that fat is NOT the problem. It is processed food.

Most foods using these claims are rarely healthy since they’re usually full of highly processed ingredients such as artificial sweeteners, lots of sugar, refined grains, highly processed fats, and salt to give it flavor.

They have to make it still taste good right?! So they add a little bit of this and a little bit of that and now we have a food product that is “light” but doesn’t have one ingredient that can be pronounced. 


Week Three Mindfulness Challenge….

Random Acts of Kindness 

We can get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life that we often forget to think of others. But a small gesture of kindness can not only make someone else’s entire day, but it can also make you feel good. So spread the love and do random acts of kindness!

Watch this video and see how an act of kindness passed from one individual to the next eventually boomerangs back to the person who set it into motion 🙂
